About

Hi, I'm Natalie Smart, the creator of Knitting-a-GoGo!
I live by the seaside in the wonderful City of Brighton and Hove, UK.

My passion for hand knitting started when I was around 7 years old where I was taught to knit by my Nan and Great Aunt.

I'm now a hand knitwear designer, having obtained my City and Guilds Certificate in Hand Knitting in 2011.

Since then, I've had my knitting patterns published for various knitting magazines, including Debbie Bliss and Knitting Magazine.

I have a real passion for designing vintage inspired knits and also still knit some original vintage knitting patterns too, mainly from the 1960s and 70s.

I've recently released a brand new FREE 'Beginner's Guide to Knitting' series where I incorporate some fun knitting projects whilst showing you various knitting techniques that you build upon over each episode.

Each knitting project in this Beginner Series has a video tutorial and instant downloadable knitting pattern, making it easy and simple for you to follow.

I love being able to teach you some of the skills I've learnt in my 30+ years of hand knitting.
